We represent the firefighters and first responders of the West Allis Fire Department.
Local 342 fights to protect the rights of the 90 firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, fire inspectors, community EMS providers, equipment operators, and officers who provide 911 responses over 11,000 times per year to keep your community safe.
Learn MoreWe support our firefighters and community through charity and legislation.
Through our charitable organization, the West Allis Fire Fighters Charities, Inc., the WAFFC is able to strengthen our community by supporting other local charities while providing direct financial assistance for citizens when tragedy strikes.
Together with the Professional Firefighters of Wisconsin and the International Association of Firefighters, Local 342 advocates for legislative advancements to support firefighters mental health, recruit and retain firefighters, and maintain safety in our community.
